Samsung Reveals the Dual SIM Galaxy Y Plus

Samsung Galaxy Y Plus Samsung Reveals the Dual SIM Galaxy Y Plus
Samsung has just unveiled the successor to the popular Galaxy Y budget smartphone in the Galaxy Y Plus. The phone looks more like a Galaxy Pocket though and features a 2.8 inch display along with dual-sim compatibility.
Here are the full specs of the phone:
  • Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich
  • 2.4 inch display with resolution of 240 x 320 pixels
  • Dual-sim compatibility
  • Weight: 96g
  • 12.98mm thick
  • 850 Mhz single-core processor
  • 4GB internal storage with memory card slot
  • 2mp rear-camera
  • Wifi, GPS, Bluetooth, microUSB
  • 1200 mAh battery
The phone will retail for around $150 or about 17000 in Pakistani rupees. For that money nowadays you can easily buy a much more powerful smartphone, even with dual-sim compatibility. The biggest blow however is from Samsung itself. The phone has a smaller display compared to its predecessor and with a processor this weak, respectable performance cannot be expected.
It depends on the users though, what they select for themselves.
